Sibila Marques is an assistant professor at ISCTE-IUL and an integrated member of the Centre for Research and Social Intervention (CIS-IUL). She is currently the Director of the Master in Social Psychology of Health at Iscte. She has developed her work mainly in two areas: Environmental Psychology and Psychology of Aging. She has several publications with impact in scientific journals and has collaborated in several national and international projects in the field of environmental and aging psychology. She was the scientific coordinator at Iscte-IUL of the European projects SIforAGE (FP7) and INHERIT (H2020). She is the author of the essay Discrimination of the Elderly published by the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation and more recently she collaborated as an expert in the Global Report against ageism with the World Health Organization.
